Cycle Breaker

I will be a cycle breaker, heck I am one already.

I will teach my future children to dream and to convert those dreams into reality. They can dream as far as the horizons and I will nudge them gently to pursue them.

They can take on any languages that their hearts desire, even if it is not their native tongues. They can embrace cultures and aspects of traditions as long as they find resonance to them.

They can pursue the arts, no matter the gender, they can pursue dance, theatre, music as long as they are passionate and willing to put in the hard work.

They could pursue sports, again no matter the gender, as long as they are passionate and love it.

They can study any discipline be it science, arts, literature, economic or business, hairdressing, culinary, makeup, etc.  as long as they are passionate about the field that they intend to pursue. I will never hold them back nor place an ultimatum.

They could fall in love with anyone as long as they find love and true companionship that accepts and cares for them for who they are and is good for them.

I will allow them to travel, to see the world and all its beauty and diversity from people, regions, languages and customs. I wish for them to be a citizen not only of their own country but to be a citizen of the world.

They will never have to fight the way I fought to see the world.

All I will ever ask of them is to be kind and genuine to everyone they meet. To never be shy of what brightens their eyes and hearts as well as to never underestimate the power of dreams.

“The miracles of our dreams lie beneath our foot soles — in each and every tiny step we take as we journey to the stars… I reckon the destination isn’t the only miracle.”
