According to the MBTI personality test, I am an INFJ-T. I have been taking this test since I was 16 and I am 25 now. Nothing much has changed except for the fact that I have a much better understanding as to why people generally find me eccentric and get suprised at my “seemingly” lack of emotions despite having a very extroverted front. I am far from extroverted and I do care profoundly and deeply, sometimes so much that it could surprise you if you ever did find out. However, will I ever show it you? No, you can bet on that. My actions seriously speaks louder ( cliché I know) . Now, since most of us are familiar with MBTIs, I will not expound much on that today but rather look at other measures of self-awareness. Do share your MBTIs types down in the comments below if you feel like sharing some fun aspects about your personality type!
Here are some general personality archetypes of the INFJ:
However, today I have decided to do something that is less general and more specific and that is to do my own personal SWOT anaylsis! (Yes, these things excite me). So, if you are not familar with this analysis, well basically SWOT stands for Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. It is predominatly used to understand the key frameworks of a business or an organisation but it also can be extended to understanding one’s self as well.
Here is my SWOT analysis :
I think it is absolutely important to ” Know Thyself” so as to appreciate as well as to nurture and develop areas that needs growth and maturity. I am not shy to admit that I need to work especially harder in the weaknesses and threats quadrants because it only shows that I am a human. I am still a work in progress and this exercise highlights to me where exactly I need to invest time for development. Additionally, it helps me to see the areas that make me go “yay” because those are the areas that I have cultivated with tender care over some time and it is lovely to see that they are what I perceive to be my strengths. I know now what are the areas I need to work on and that sets me on a steady path to personal growth.
Here are some swot analysis templates that you could download and begin on this exercise. I personally developed them myself and I hope you will have an enriching time doing them like I did! I wish you a wonderful week ahead!
