One thing I have learnt is that pain and downfalls is a good teacher. It teaches us to appreciate the very little in our lives , to enjoy and relish with the very people and experience(s) that edifies and molds us to become the better version of ourselves. It plunges you into a deep ocean of introspection where you re-evaluate your goals, priorities , and relationships all over again and you know what? I think that is very healthy to view pain as such, rather than the apocalyptical horse back rider of doom and destruction. I see pain as an old woman. Pain gives us much wisdom and in a way, I see it as maternal; always teaching us lessons and to bring us closer to our intimate self when we reflect profoundly on what matters the most. She has taught me kindness, gentleness, sweetness, forgiveness and even love. Yes, that old woman taught me these.
Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding.Khalil Gibran
